warm or cold?

Yesterday during the photo research lab at the KABK we were discussing how the pictures from the Rokytna­k, 1994 series from Jitka Hanzlova look like.

Are the pics on the top of this page warm at all for some of you?

I find them distant and quite cold but it seems that they are warm.

If those kids in the floor are almost naked shows that probably it was summer, why does the picture looks like it's winter with that frozen morning light?

I'd really appreciate some comments and opinions on this :D
